To many primary school children, Oral, Comprehension and Composition form the dreaded trio of Chinese assessments.
It’s rarely just one area that children struggle with. More often than not, a child who is weak in Oral also finds Compre and Compo challenging. This is because all three components test the same core abilities: the ability to understand Chinese clearly, and the ability to express thoughts confidently in Chinese.
When these foundational skills are shaky, children may know the words—but struggle to organise ideas, answer accurately, or speak and write with confidence. Over time, this can lead to frustration, loss of motivation, and a growing fear of Chinese.
Our March Holiday Workshop for Primary 4 students is designed to address this root problem—not through rote drilling, but through guided practice that builds real comprehension and expression skills.

By strengthening these two core skills, children gain tools that support all three exam components — Oral, Compre and Compo — giving them greater clarity, confidence and control in Chinese.
This workshop is ideal for P4 students who want to strengthen their foundation early, before assessment demands increase in the upper primary years.
Give your child the opportunity to strengthen their Chinese foundation during the March holidays — and turn Oral, Compre and Compo from a source of stress into skills they can manage with confidence.
