At Huá Language Centre, our K2 Chinese Enrichment Programme is thoughtfully designed to equip 6-year-olds with the language confidence and academic readiness required for a smooth transition to Primary 1. Through a fun, research-based, and MOE-aligned curriculum, we nurture essential Mandarin language skills while sparking a lifelong love for learning.

Every high-energy class brings Mandarin to life with songs, storytelling, interactive games and a dynamic show-and-tell segment. Our structured yet engaging lessons promote critical thinking, language fluency, and cultural awareness—laying a strong and lasting foundation in Mandarin.

2-hour thematic, activity-based lessons designed for active learning and Primary 1 readiness

Thematic Learning

Each term features new topics with class exercises, extended reading aloud, and character recognition activities aligned to upcoming Primary 1 content

MOE Curriculum Alignment

Lessons mapped to MOE preschool objectives and Primary 1 textbook themes for a seamless transition to primary education

Vocabulary and Language Exposure

Students engage with a rich variety of Chinese language elements including character strokes (笔画), Hanyu Pinyin (汉语拼音), rhymes (儿歌), idioms (成语), tongue twisters (绕口令), spelling (听写), and show-and-tell activities to strengthen linguistic ability and cultural understanding

Pronunciation and Writing Mastery

Emphasis on accurate pronunciation, sentence formation, character writing, and Pinyin familiarity for strong language fundamentals

Reading and Comprehension

Shared storybook reading sessions in every class to enhance reading aloud, understanding, and expression

Use of personification, visual aids, and interactive slides to reinforce character recognition and Pinyin mastery
