Strengthening Pronunciation, Early Writing, and Preparing for Primary One

At Huá Language Centre, our K1 Chinese Enrichment Programme builds on the Nursery foundation to give 5 year olds the fluency and confidence needed for Primary 1 readiness. Using the same fun, research based, and MOE aligned approach that powers all Huá preschool classes, each two hour session is packed with songs, games, interactive activities, and storytelling that make Mandarin come alive and nurture a genuine love for the language.

Introduction to Chinese idioms (成语) with clear meanings and example sentences to broaden language use

Visual Learning Techniques

Personification and visual aids to help children visualise stroke order and character structure (Hanyu Pinyin to be formally introduced in K2)

Primary 1 Readiness

Foundational skills for P1 integrated into weekly activities to ease transition into primary school

Independent Practice

Language worksheets and activities that encourage children to apply learning independently
