Placement is guided by both age and developmental readiness. If your child is younger than N2 age, they may begin in N1 or Playgroup. Three-year-olds typically enter N1, while children between 18 months and three years start in Playgroup before progressing.
No prior Chinese exposure is required. The programme supports beginners and learners with some experience, helping families explore all preschool Chinese programmes that suit different starting levels and learning needs.
For N1 and N2 levels, class sizes are capped at 10 students to ensure focused guidance and active participation. Each session runs for 90 minutes, balancing listening, speaking, and structured activities which support progression to the next level after N2.
The N2 Chinese programme builds a strong Mandarin foundation through interactive storytelling, songs, and language games. Lessons develop vocabulary, listening skills, and confidence in speaking Chinese within a structured framework aligned with the MOE Chinese Curriculum.
Teachers observe participation, comprehension, and language use across lessons. Parents receive regular feedback and can contact us to arrange a trial class discussion or clarification at any point.
