Mandarin Camp – Where The Wild Things Are

Background Story: Adapted from the children’s book “Where The Wild Things Are”, our Mandarin camp this year sees a group of children whose imaginations started running wild while at Mandarin Camp. With terrible roars, terrible claws, and terrible teeth, they transformed into little Wild Things—so wild that their room began to change. Trees sprouted from the floor, vines curled along the walls, and the air filled with the smell of the sea. Right before their eyes, a magical paper boat folded itself out of Chinese characters, ready to sail them far away. It carried them across the ocean to the mysterious Island of Wild Things, where fantastic creatures ruled. But instead of being afraid, the children became friends with the Wild Things, helping them solve problems and sharing in their adventures.

Programme Objectives: Our full-day Mandarin camp is a story-based camp which takes children through crafts and excursions as the story unravels. This is the best way to expose your child to listening and speaking Mandarin everyday while creating your own masterpiece and having fun.
