From Classroom to the World – A Mandarin Journey Begins!

This July, Hua Language Centre invites your child on an exciting, hands-on Mandarin adventure! Our 2025 Summer Camp, themed 《环游世界，追追追》 (“Around the World, Let’s Go!”), is designed to immerse children in Mandarin through creative exploration of global cultures.

Each day, children will “travel” to a new country through crafts, storytelling, and games — all in Mandarin. We kick things off with a fun guessing game, where campers identify the country of origin for that day’s themed craft using clues in a quiz show-style format. Once revealed, our teachers guide the children through learning about the country’s iconic landmarks and foods, before diving into the craft project.

Throughout the week, children will enjoy interactive activities that build listening, speaking, and thinking skills in Mandarin — all while having fun and making friends. The camp concludes with a “Show and Tell” finale, where each child presents an object or cultural fact about their country of choice, building confidence in their Mandarin speaking and presentation skills.
