Chinese Immersion Camp – Adventures of the Twilight Trio《日暮侦探三人组》

Background Story: 华华 the owl is the wisest detective in town. With his round glasses and trusty magnifying glass, no clue is too small for him. He solves every case with his two best friends, 橘子 the curious ginger cat and 小望, who never goes anywhere without his binoculars. The three friends love working together as the sun begins to go down (owls are nocturnal animals and 小望 needs to finish his school work first!), and so they call themselves the Twilight Trio, 日暮神探三人组. This holiday, two baffling mysteries land on their doorstep. First, a much-loved friend vanishes without a trace, leaving behind only a few curious clues. Then, an entire town wakes up to find that every colour has been stolen overnight. With sharp eyes, clever ideas and a lot of teamwork, the trio sets off to crack each case. Along the way, they discover that the answers are not always what they expect, and that a little kindness can solve the biggest mysteries of all.

Programme Objectives: Our full-day Immersion camp is the perfect blend of learning ahead for the next academic year and practising Mandarin every day through stories, crafts and excursions. Children will be split into their school levels for Headstart Chinese classes in the morning, followed by lunch. After lunch, they join the Twilight Trio as junior detectives, following clues and solving each day’s mystery in Mandarin. Every case comes with a hands-on creation to take home, from crafts to kitchen fun, as well as two exciting outings. Each week is a complete story, so children may join for one week or both.

Spaces are limited, and we’d love to help your child secure his/her place in this popular programme. You can pass us your details through this form , and we’ll get in touch as soon as possible.
